Williams Gardening Lawn Care and Billing Policy

Williams Gardening -- For the best in lawn care and landscaping services.

Contract

Williams Gardening has no written service contract for you to sign. Basically, we agree to provide you quality lawn care services as long as you are happy with our work, pay your bill on time, and abide by our policies. If you request service, you agree that you have read these policies and agree to abide by them in full.

Williams End of the Deal

Rates: Rates listed on our basic lawn care prices page are for reference only. We must visit your property to give you a firm estimate before we agree to begin work. Our prices are based on your lot measurements and the amount of lawn space -- a large lot with a large backyard pool may be estimated as a medium size yard for pricing purposes. Basic Service is for mowing, edging, and blowing clippings. It does not including removing debris from your yard, pooper-scooper service, trimming trees or bushes, or planting flowers or shrubs. If you need those services, we will be happy to provide add-on or full service at an additional charge.

Service Schedule: At the time you contract for service, we will provide you with a service schedule, i.e., the day of the week that we will service your property. We will service your lawn as scheduled from week to week and season to season until you cancel service OR service is suspended because of an unpaid bill

Service Schedule: We will service your property on your scheduled service date at anytime from 7am to 7pm. We can not be any more specific than this or agree to a specific hour. However, we generally follow the same schedule in each neighborhood from week to week so if we serve your neighborhood in the morning one week, most likely we will be there in the morning the next service day.

Customer Service: It is our highest priority to keep you satisfied with the look of your lawn. We will ensure that our standards are being kept at all times. If you have any complaint with the lawn care service you receive, do not hesitate to email us or phone us at 281-642-6832 and we will do our best to take care of the issue as soon as possible. Do not be surprised if we give you a call or send an email from time to time to make sure you are happy with your service.

Rain: If it rains to the extent that we are unable to mow your lawn on the scheduled date, we will attempt to mow during the next two days. If if rains for several days, we may be forced to skip you for that week. If you are skipped, you will not be billed for that week.

Holidays: We do not skip service on any Holidays other than Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you are skipped, you will not be billed for that week.

Billing: Billing is done monthly to the service address or to a billing address that you provide. We can bill you by email or snail mail. We bill at the end of the month. You have 5 days after the post-marked date to pay the bill. There is a $10 late fee for any snail mail payment postmarked after the 5 day limit. There is a $25 returned check charge.

Sales Tax: The state requires that we charge an 8.25% sales tax on all service. This is applied in your invoice after calculating the total cost of your services for the month.

Customer End of the Deal

Debris: It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that all toys, trash, hoses, etc are picked up on the service date. We will remove large sticks, pine cones, and small landscaping trash items, however we will not perform a yard cleanup service as part of the Basic Lawn Care Service agreement. If you need that service, we will be happy to provide a bid for that work in addition to Basic Care.

Locked Gates: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that we have access to the back yard during the scheduled day of service. We recommend using a combination lock so you can provide us with the combination for access or that you supply us with an extra key for access. If we cannot gain access to your property because of locked gates, we will service the areas we have access to and you will be charged as if normal service occurred.

Sprinklers: If you have sprinklers, please make sure they are turned off the day of our visit. You should turn them off the evening before our scheduled visit so that your lawn will not be too wet to mow.

Pets: We love our pets and we know you love yours; however, not all pets love all people, especially people with noisy lawn mowers, weed-eaters, or lawn-edgers. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure pets are properly secure on the day we provide lawn service. If you dog is likely to bite, it must be kept inside the home or garage during our visit or we will not be able to service your back yard. If a dog is likely to bound out of the yard the minute a gate opens, it is your responsibly to make sure it is securely leashed or inside your home or garage. We will not chase a runaway animal. If we have to provide pooper-scooper service in order to provide the basic lawn mowing, we will add $10 to your bill for that visit. If we cannot gain access to a portion of your property because of an aggressive dog, we will service the areas we have access to and you will be charged as if normal service occurred.
